Non-carbonated natural slate formed by tectonic compression over 500 million years. It is a grey slate with a smooth matt surface. CUPA 12 has also been approved by the National Snowdonia Park as a suitable alternagtive to Welsh slate. The CUPA 12 quarry operations are BRE A+ proving its quality and transparency.
